Authors are invited to submit electronically an Extended Abstract (2 to 4 pages) no later than June 30, 2010 (updated deadline). Accepted authors are requested to submit full-length papers intended for publication in the proceedings CD-ROM until September 21, 2010. All abstracts and full-length papers will be reviewed under the responsibility of the Symposium Organizing Committee. At authors wish, full-length papers orally presented at the Symposium may be submitted for important journals as for example the Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering.
Due to the Symposium tight schedule, only one paper per presenting author will be accepted. Papers should address theoretical aspects and/or practical applications related to the following main topics:
