About DINAME
The International Symposium on Dynamic Problems
of Mechanics - DINAME is held every two years and is organized
by the Committee of Dynamics of ABCM, the Brazilian
Society of Engineering and Mechanical Sciences. Since 1986 the
Symposium has been a vivid forum for scientists, academicians
and practical engineers to explore, discuss and present the
recent developments in analysis and state-of-the-art techniques
of dynamic problems of Mechanics. It has always had an active
participation of researchers and industry engineers, from Brazil
and various other countries as well.
The meetings are traditionally held in hotels located in quiet
and pleasant sites, away from overcrowded areas, in a regime of
immersion which enables cross-fertilization of ideas, strong
scientific exchanging and socialization amongst participants. To
maximize the exchange of knowledge about scientific achievements
and trends on topics related to dynamic problems of Mechanics,
the single-session format is adopted for the oral presentation
of the papers.
To preserve its inherent characteristics, the Symposium is
restricted to no more than about one hundred presenting papers.
